Close the ink tank cover.

Close all covers on the printer. For models with
stands, close the paper basket.

Turn off the printer, and unplug all cables,
including the power cord and LAN cables, etc.

For models with stands, release the locks on the
casters.
Operations after Moving
This explains operations to prepare for use after
moving the printer.

Important:
After moving the printer, return the
transportation caps to the printing position. You
cannot print when the caps are in the
transportation position because ink is not supplied.

Connect the power cable, and turn the printer
on.

Open the ink tank cover.
C
Open all ink tank caps.
D
Remove the transportation caps.
E
Turn over the transportation caps.
