2) Red thin wire connected to your reversing light (positive power),
black thin wire connected to metal or ground wire (negative power).
NOTE: the power supply for the camera must come from a reversing
lights.The power source can also be from the constant 12V power source,
but the camera will always be on.
3) Connect the RCA port of the power cable to the RCA extension cable
,
then wire in the car along the existing backbone harness, running
extension cable.
4) Connect the yellow RCA port of the extension cable to your monitor
(if your RCA port is already connected, then the red trigger wire can be
ignored. If you don't want to connect the yellow RCA port, you can
energize the red trigger wire to the monitor)
5) Test: when the car in reverse, the reverse lights should turn on - you
may need your key on for this. The power from the reverse lights will
power up the camera, and should trigger the monitor to display. If the
monitor does not automatically switch to the display then you will need to
adjust a setting in the menu. Look for "camera input" or "reversing"
