Operation
Ignition switch
Use the ignition switch (2) to start and stop the engine.
> I position: The engine can start and run.
> O position: The engine stops. After pushing the ignition switch (2) to the O position,
the ignition switch (2) automatically returns to the I position.
Check before starting:
> Check the machine, as well as accessories for damage before each use. Do not
use the machine if it is damaged or shows wear.
> Verify that the S-shaped tube (17) and the nozzle (18/ 19) are properly assembled
to the blower outlet (1).
> Check the fuel level, rell if necessary.
> Always hold the machine by the main handle (5) with the right hand.
> Ensure that the air vents (14) and exhaust (16) are always unobstructed and clear.
Clean them if necessary with a soft brush. Blocked air vents (14) or exhaust (16)
may lead to overheating and damage the machine.
> Stop the engine immediately if you are disturbed while working by other people
entering the working area. Always let the machine come to complete stop before
putting it down.
> Do not overwork yourself. Take regular breaks to ensure you can concentrate on
the work and have full control over the machine.
> Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing.
> Slightly dampen surfaces in dusty conditions.
NOTE: In some countries regulations dene at what time of the day
and on what special days machines are allowed to be used and what
restrictions apply! Ask your community for detailed information and observe
the regulations in order to preserve a peaceful neighbourhood and avoid
committing administrative offenses!
