Maintenance instructions
De-energize device and secure against being switched on again
A strip of adhesive tape with the wording
"DANGER do not switch ON!" may be applied
over the actuation levers of circuit breakers
which cannot be removed.
A prohibition sign with the text:
“Work in progress!”
“Place: ..............................”
“Sign may only be removed by: ............”
must always be securely mounted immediately.
DANGER!
Extreme danger!
If work is to be performed on the devices,
they must be de-energized. That means that
all power must be switched off.
Switching off the device alone is insufficient,
as certain points may remain energized.
Therefore, switch off breakers before per-
forming any work.
DANGER!
Extreme danger!
Severe accidents can occur if the device is mistakenly
switched on again.
Immediately after de-energizing, secure all switches or fus-
es used for de-energizing against being switched on again.
Lock the fuse box with a padlock.
