Appendix C – Install External Antenna

1. Remove the front cover by pulling one side upward. Use protective gloves when removing
the front cover.
2. Remove the two black pieces of tape at the top edge inside the RBS, and, with a screwdriver,
break the two aluminium knock outs.
3. Insert two external antenna adapter cables through the holes, and attach the adapter to the
top edge of the RBS by gently pushing it toward the RBS.

4. Connect the two external antenna adapter cables to the connectors inside the RBS.
5. Place the unused internal antenna cables as shown in illustration 5.
6. Attach the front cover to the RBS by gently pushing it toward the RBS.
