SAFETY RESET
• This dryer has a safety auto-o switch which is activated by high temperatures.
• If your dryer is not heating this button must be reset, before the dryer can heat again.
You may need to wait 10 minutes for cooling down.
• The safety reset button is located on the backboard.
• The most common reason for the dryer to overheat is a blocked lter.
• Clean the lint lter after each cycle to prevent overheating of the dryer.
The auto-o switch may operate for the following reasons:
• Lint lter is blocked.
• Exhaust outlets blocked at the back of the dryer.
• Open the windows or the door, if there is poor ventilation in the room.
• Lightweight garment (eg. handkerchief) is suck over the lter.
