Failure to follow proper batte care practices can result in
unnecessa wear to the components, batte, and/or charger,
which could lead to a batte that underpeorms, or becomes
non-functional. Loss of batte capacity is not covered by
warranty.
1. For the rst initial charge upon receiving your bike (or after long
storage time), be sure to charge the batte for at least 8 hours
before riding.
2. After the rst 3 rides, you may begin normal charging proce
dures.
If you plan on storing your bike (or spare batte) for longer than
two weeks at a time, please be sure to follow these guidelines in
order to maintain the lifespan of your batte.
It is recommended that you do not leave the batte at lower than
an 80% charge when storing for long periods of times. If storing
for a month or longer, periodically check the batte and be sure
to keep the charge up to at least 80%.
Store your batte in a cool, d area away from water and other
elements at a temperature between 50℉ - 77 (10℃ - 25℃).
Storing Your Batte
Note: We recommend that you let the batte charge for at least 8 hours for
the rst 3 charges to make sure the cells balance properly.
