Usage Features:

The ETTRONE Lampo is designed for ease of use and safety. Assembly involves unfolding the pole, fastening the folding lock, connecting communication cables, and inserting the T-bar. Disassembly is the reverse process. Folding the scooter involves pushing the locking button upwards, opening the stem latch, folding the stem, and securing the hook to the rear fender.

To ride, users press the power button, grab the handlebar firmly, place one foot on the footboard and push off to reach a minimum speed of 1.8 mph (3 km/h) for the motor to engage. Once gliding, both feet are placed on the footboard. Steering is achieved by gently shifting body weight and turning the handlebar. Braking involves pressing the brake lever and/or stepping on the rear fender brake. The electric throttle deactivates when brakes are pressed.

Safety is paramount, with recommendations including wearing a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and other protective gear. Riders should avoid public roads, motorways, steep inclines (over 15 degrees), bumpy or slippery roads at high speeds, and riding with additional loads or passengers. It is crucial to keep both hands on the handlebar and avoid distractions like phone calls or music. The scooter should not be operated under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Maintenance Features:

Daily care and maintenance are essential for the longevity and performance of the ETTRONE Lampo.

  • Cleaning: Before cleaning, disconnect the scooter from the charger, ensure power is off, and the charging port cap is secured. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the frame and body parts. A toothbrush can be used for hardened dirt. WARNING: Do not soak, spray, or pour water onto the scooter, wash with a hose or pressure cleaner, or use corrosive/volatile solvents (gasoline, alcohol, acetone, etc.), as this can cause permanent damage to electronic components.
  • Battery Care: The manual provides detailed instructions for battery removal and installation. The battery should be charged, operated, and stored within the recommended temperature range of 32 - 86°F (0 - 35°C). Charging should never be left unattended, and the charger should be unplugged once the battery is full. The battery should not be used if there is any visual damage, unusual odor, or leakage, or if it has been dropped or smashed. Opening or repairing the battery is not recommended. Only the original ETTRONE charger should be used. Water should be avoided as it can cause the battery to explode or catch fire.
  • Storage: Store the e-scooter in a cool, dry place indoors, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Charge the battery after each ride and avoid complete discharge. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery before storage and at least once every three months to prevent excessive discharge.
  • Pre-Ride Checklist: Before each ride, users should check for disconnected cables, hardware, or faulty components. All functional parts (frame, handlebar, tires, throttle, brake lights) should be operating properly, and all locking devices secured. Brakes should be tested for proper functioning. The battery level indicator should be checked to ensure adequate charge for the trip.
  • Tire Pressure: Always check tire pressure before riding. The recommended pressure is 36 PSI (measured in cold conditions). Maintaining adequate air pressure is crucial to prevent punctures, leaks, and to ensure optimal range.

Disassembling the e-scooter, battery, or any electrical component will void the manufacturer's warranty. For support, users should contact ETTRONE and have their serial number available.
