1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Your Steam Cleaner is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a

period of one (1) year from the date of purchase when utilized for normal household use by the

original purchaser only. The included Warranty Registration Card must be filled out and

returned within 10 days of purchase. This is essential for your Warranty to be effective should

any problem arise with this product.

Should any defect covered by the terms of the limited warranty be discovered within one year,

EURO-PRO Operating LLC will repair or replace any defective part provided the unit is

returned by the original purchaser, freight prepaid, to:

Proof of purchase date and $12.95 for handling and return packing/shipping charges must be

included.*

The liability of under this warranty is limited solely to the cost of the replacement parts or the

complete unit at our option. LABOUR CHARGES ARE NOT INCLUDED.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts and does not apply to any unit that has been

tampered with or used for commercial purposes. This Limited Warranty does not cover

damage caused by misuse, negligent handling, or damage due to faulty packaging or

mishandling in transit (by any common carrier).

This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the unit and excludes all other legal

and/or conventional warranties. The responsibility of EURO-PRO Operating LLC, if any, is

limited to the specific obligations expressly assumed by it under the terms of the limited

warranty. In no event is EURO-PRO Operating LLC liable for incidental or consequential

damages of any nature whatsoever. Some States/Provinces do not permit the exclusion or

limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights which vary from state to state or province to

province.

*Important: Carefully pack item to avoid damage in shipping. Be sure to attach tag to item

before packing with your name, complete address and phone number with note giving purchase

information, model number and what you believe is the problem with item. We recommend you

insure the package (as damage in shipping is not covered by your warranty). Mark the outside

of your package “ATTENTION CUSTOMER SERVICE”. We are constantly striving to

Function Description:

The SC505H is a portable steam cleaner that generates high-temperature, pressurized steam to remove tough grease, dirt, and grime. It is intended for household use and can be used on a variety of hard surfaces and upholstery that can withstand high heat. The steam cleaner comes with several attachments that allow it to perform different cleaning tasks.

Usage Features:

The steam cleaner is designed for ease of use with several attachments for specific cleaning tasks:

Main Unit: The core of the device, housing the water tank and heating element.
Flexible Hose with Hand Grip and Steam Trigger: Allows for directed steam application. The steam trigger has a locking button for continuous steam flow.
Safety Cap: A crucial safety feature that prevents opening the water tank when the unit is pressurized. It must be unscrewed counter-clockwise to open and tightened clockwise to close.

Specific Cleaning Applications:

Wood, Vinyl, and Marble Floors: Use the floor brush with a terry cloth towel, moving it like a mop. For wood floors, move quickly to prevent heat/moisture buildup.
Stripping Wax: Use the floor brush for open areas and the detail brush for corners without a towel, using slow strokes.
Waxed Floors: Wrap a clean towel around the floor brush and brush quickly to remove dirt without affecting the wax.
Vinyl Floors: Work fast to avoid softening the vinyl.
Tile Floors: Use the angle concentrator/brush adapter with the detail brush for grout, then the floor brush with a cloth for the tiles.
Blinds: Use the detail brush, moving it over the surface to allow vapor penetration.
Refrigerator and Kitchen Equipment: Use the angle concentrator/brush adapter or detail brush for cleaning ice machines, door seals, can openers, and other small appliances (unplugged before cleaning).
Exterior Areas (Car Interiors, Bicycles, Equipment): Use the floor brush with a terry cloth towel for upholstery, and the angle concentrator/detail brush for detailing wheels, windows, bicycles, and equipment.

Water Usage:

Tap water can be used for most cleaning needs.
Demineralized/distilled water is recommended for steaming light-colored fabrics or in areas with hard water to prevent stains.
Crucially, no cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils, or any other chemicals should ever be added to the water tank, as this can damage the unit and void the warranty.

Maintenance Features:

Cool Down: The appliance must be unplugged and allowed to cool completely before any cleaning or maintenance tasks.
Pressure Release: Depress the steam trigger to release any residual pressure in the boiler before opening the safety cap.
Emptying Water Tank: Empty all water from the tank after each use.
Storage: Store in a dry, cool place.
Periodic Rinsing: A periodic rinse (every 10-15 tankfulls) of the steam cleaner is recommended to free it from scale deposits. This involves filling the boiler with water, shaking vigorously, and tilting the cleaner upside down to empty the water.
Cleaning the Angle Concentrator: If steam output decreases, mineral deposits may be blocking the orifice. This can be cleared by inserting a small diameter stiff metal wire (like a straightened paperclip) into the orifice and moving it back and forth.

Safety Precautions:

Always read all instructions before use.
Do not immerse any part of the system in water or other liquids.
Always disconnect from the electrical outlet when filling/emptying water or when not in use.
Never operate with a damaged cord or plug.
Do not direct steam at people, animals, or plants, as it is very hot and can cause burns.
Do not operate in the presence of explosive/flammable fumes.
Always test on a small, concealed area of the material being cleaned, as steam can damage certain surfaces or textiles (e.g., bleach painted wood/leather, dull glossy plastic, affect acrylic/velvet/linen).
Use only a grounded receptacle and a heavy-duty 15-ampere, 14-gauge extension cord if necessary.
Do not leave the system unattended when connected to a power supply.
