• Clearances: The heater must be installed in a position where the outlet
grille is a minimum distance of:
- 1800mm from the floor
- 350mm from the nearest side to an adjacent wall
- 500mm from the ceiling to the top face of the heater
- 90mm from any combustible material such as furniture, curtains, bedding,
clothes or papers, etc.
• Installation requirements: The heater is to be installed so that switches
and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.
The plug must not be positioned below the heater.
• Keep the top clear: Do not place anything on top of fan heater.
• No overnight use: Do not leave the heater on overnight.
• WARNING! DO NOT use the fan heater in the following areas or
circumstances:
- Near an open flame, a hot burner, oven or other source of high heat
- Outdoors or in areas of high humidity without suitable ventilation
- Near a swimming pool or other source of water, where it may get splashed
or fall into the water
- In a window or near curtains
- Above a socket outlet
- In areas where paint, petrol, etc. is stored and there is a risk of explosion
or fire from flammable gases, or in areas where substances are being
sprayed.
• CAUTION! Personal safety: Avoid contact with moving parts. Never insert
fingers, pencils or any other objects through the grilles when the fan heater
is running. Keep hair and loose clothing well away from the fan heater when
it is in use.
• Free airflow: Ensure nothing is blocking the airflow grilles. Do not insert
foreign objects into any opening as this may cause electric shock and/or a
fire hazard.
• Moving: When moving the appliance, do not touch the outlet grilles.
• Cleaning: When cleaning the appliance, do not use water or a wet cloth on
any part of the unit, as this may cause a short circuit or electric shock.
• Misuse: We accept no liability for any damages or personal injury caused by
misuse of the product and/or failure to follow these instructions.
