Modes of Operation:
- Normal Mode: Operates at full power (2200W, all 4 tubes lit) or half power (1100W, 2 tubes lit). The timer can be set to switch off the heater after a certain time (1-15 hours). Temperature and open window sensors are active.
- Auto Mode: Allows setting a desired temperature between 15°C and 32°C. The heater starts at full power and reduces to half power when the room reaches the set temperature, resuming full power if the temperature drops. The open window sensor is active.
- Sleep Mode: Operates at full power (2200W, all 4 tubes lit). The timer can be set to switch off the heater after a certain time (1-15 hours). Temperature and open window sensors are active. Maximum temperature in sleep mode is 28°C.
Temperature Sensing:
- When operating at full power, if the ambient temperature exceeds 38°C (or 28°C in sleep mode), the heater automatically turns off two tubes, operating at half power. It resumes full power when the temperature drops below these thresholds.
Open Window Sensing:
- If the ambient temperature continuously drops by 5°C within 5 minutes while operating at full power, the heater automatically turns off two tubes and operates at half power. An "open window" indicator illuminates on the display. Pressing any button cancels this indication and resumes full power heating.
Timer Function (OFF-timer):
- Allows setting a time period (1 to 15 hours) after which the heater will stop working and return to standby mode. The timer countdown is displayed.
Remote Control:
- Provides convenient control over power, mode selection, temperature adjustment, and timer settings. It is powered by a 3V CR2025 button cell.
First Use:
- Upon initial use, the heater may produce fumes or odor, which is normal due to new components and harmless. Adequate ventilation is recommended during this period.
Maintenance Features
Care and Cleaning:
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
