When milk begins flowing (let-down begins),
press the speed decrease button E to help
the milk flow faster. As milk flow slows,
stimulate another let-down by increasing
speed using the speed increase button F.
Continue pumping until milk is no longer
flowing or bottle is full.
Note: Do not overfill the 5-ounce collection
bottle; when freezing your milk for storage,
space is needed in the bottle for the milk to
expand.
Turn off the pump
After breast milk has been expressed, hold
suction decrease button D until the
suction level reaches the lowest setting.
Release button, then press and hold
suction decrease button D again until
pump turns off (approximately 1 to 2
seconds).
If necessary, slide a finger between
the flange and your breast to break
any remaining suction, then remove
the flange.

Carefully remove bottle G from flange.
Place the sealing disc H into the cap
ring I and screw onto the bottle
securely. Your breast milk is now ready for
storage (see page 14 for information on
storing breast milk).
Note: When using as a single pump on one
breast at a time, repeat steps 1 through 6
on your other breast.
To ensure a good seal, place the flange A
gently, but firmly, against your breast,
with your nipple directly in the center, as
shown.
Hold the bottle upright to ensure that
milk flows into the bottle.

Turn On the Pump
Press the suction increase button B on
the pump unit C. The pump will start at
the lowest suction setting and highest
speed.
To Increase suction
Press the suction increase button
B to reach the level that is most
comfortable for you.
To Decrease suction
Press the suction decrease button D to decrease suction.
IMPORTANT: If you feel pain in your breast or nipple, turn the pump off (see
next page) or slide a finger between the flange and your breast to immediately
break the suction. If you feel discomfort at every suction level, turn the pump off
and contact your healthcare provider for assistance.
Note: Pump will automatically shut off after 40 minutes.
