Installation

Attaching the discharge pipe with
weep hole to your pump
Place the pump (not included) to be installed on the oor.
Apply threaded tape to the discharge pipe with weep hole
(A) and hand-tighten it into the pump’s discharge opening.
Place the pump in the basin (not included) and align the
discharge pipe with weep hole (A) under your existing
discharge pipe (1). Replace the basin cover so that the
discharge pipe with weep hole (A) passes through the
discharge opening. Do not secure it yet.
Measure the distance between the end of the discharge
pipe with weep hole (A) and your existing discharge pipe
(1) to ensure it is greater than 31 inches. If it is not, cut
your existing discharge pipe to ensure the minimum
31 in. distance.

Preparing the installation location
Slide the coupling pipe (B) onto the discharge pipe with
weep hole (A). Then slide the pipe with check valve (C) into
the coupling pipe (B).
Slide the pipe with check valve (C) up and over your
existing discharge pipe (1). Add the additional discharge
pipe (D) to your existing discharge pipe (1) if you need
more length.
Tighten all the hose clamps on the pipe with check valve
(C) and the additional discharge pipe (D) (if necessary) with
a athead screwdriver. Do not exceed 15 in-lbs.
Slide the coupling pipe (B) into a position so that it covers
at least 1 in. of the discharge pipe with weep hole (A) and
pipe with check valve (C).
Tighten all the hose clamps on the coupling pipe (B) with a
athead screwdriver. Do not exceed 15 in-lbs.
Reattach your existing discharge ange and vent to the
cover as necessary and secure the cover to the basin.
Plug in your pump. Cycle your system a few times and
check for leaks. Tighten any clamps if necessary with a
athead screwdriver. Do not exceed 15 in-lbs.
