How to troubleshoot Everwell METH-16 Air Conditioner that does not turn on?
    • S
      Stephanie SantiagoAug 6, 2025
If your Everwell Air Conditioner isn't turning on, there are several potential causes. First, check the power supply to ensure it's properly connected and that there isn't a power failure. Also check the voltage supply. Other possible issues include loose connections, a damaged fan motor (indoor or outdoor), a faulty compressor thermomagnetic circuit breaker, or faulty fuses. Check and replace fuses if needed. The electronic control board could also be damaged. It is also possible that the TIMER-ON function is active, so try deactivating it. Finally, sometimes the unit stops to protect itself; in this case, allow it to reset. Also, make sure all connections are secure.

Why is my Everwell METH-16 airflow insufficient?
    • N
      Nicholas HughesAug 13, 2025
If your Everwell Air Conditioner isn't providing enough airflow, whether hot or cold, start by adjusting the temperature setting to your desired level. Make sure that the fan speed is not set to minimum and increase it if it is. Check the air inlet and outlet of both the indoor and outdoor units for any blockages and clear them if necessary. Also, inspect the air filter to see if it's blocked; if so, clean or replace it. If there are other sources of heat in the room, remove them. Finally, a lack of refrigerant could be the issue; in that case, check for refrigerant leaks and recharge the system.

What to do if Everwell METH-16 Air Conditioner does not respond to the remote control?
    • C
      Courtney WilliamsAug 21, 2025
If your Everwell Air Conditioner isn't responding to the remote control, first, move the remote closer to the indoor unit. Replace the batteries in the remote control, as they may be exhausted. Also, check for any obstacles between the remote and the signal receiver on the indoor unit, and remove them.

Why is the display off on my Everwell Air Conditioner?
    • T
      Tracy MorrisAug 28, 2025
If the display on your Everwell Air Conditioner is off, first, check the power supply to ensure it's functioning correctly. If power is not the issue, the LED function might be active. Try switching off the LED function.

Overview

This document is a user and installation manual for the Everwell METH-16 air conditioner, providing comprehensive information on its operation, maintenance, and installation.

Function Description

The METH-16 is an air conditioning unit designed for domestic environments, offering cooling, heating, and dehumidifying functions. It features an auto-restart function that memorizes previous settings in case of power failure and automatically resumes operation when power is restored. The unit can be controlled via a remote controller, which allows users to adjust temperature, fan speed, mode of operation, and other settings. An emergency button on the indoor unit provides basic control if the remote controller is unavailable.

The air conditioner operates by drawing air through a filter, then cooling/dehumidifying or heating it via a heat exchanger before circulating it back into the room. Airflow direction can be adjusted through motorized flaps and manual deflectors.
