Also, avoid using an excessively long pressure hose; instead, lengthen the water supply hose.

Verify that the pump oil level is correct and that you're using the correct type of oil; if not, drain and refill. Clean the vent plug by blowing air through it to remove any blockage.   If your Ex-Cell Pressure Washer has low or no pressure after normal use, several issues could be the cause. Start by checking for loose hose connections and tighten them. Inspect the drain plug and its o-ring, replacing if worn. Ensure the vent plug is clean. If the pump is overfilled or has the incorrect oil, drain and refill it with the correct type and amount. Unfortunately, for worn seals, packings, valves, unloader pistons, piston packings, damaged pump heads or tubes, or worn oil seals, you will need professional assistance to have them replaced.

Why won't my Ex-Cell ZR2800 engine start?

  If your Ex-Cell Pressure Washer engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure you have enough fuel and the correct amount of oil. Check that the engine ON/OFF switch is in the ON position and the spark plug wire is securely attached. If pressure has built up, squeeze the gun trigger to relieve it. Also, make sure the fuel valve is open and the throttle control lever is in the “Fast” position. Adjust the choke lever based on whether the engine is cold (“Choke” position) or hot (“No Choke” position). Finally, ensure the water supply is adequate (at least 5 GPM @ 20 PSI) and the high-pressure hose is under 100 feet. Air in the hose can also prevent starting; to resolve this, turn off the engine and water, disconnect the water source, remove air from the hose, reconnect, ...
