The procedure for running the
S
TICK
program is as follows:
1
Connect the supplied cable (Part no. 97945) to the KT-9
computer port located on the bottom panel (covering the
battery compartment).
2
Connect the other end of the cable to the
COM
1:
serial port
of your computer. Please note that the cable has a DB-9
connector. If your computer has the older 25-pin ports you
will either need a DB-9 to DB-25 adaptor or ask
EXPLO-
RANIUM
for a special DB-25 version of the connector cable.
3
Turn on the KT-9.

Select either the
N
O
-P
IN
(nP) or
C
ORE
(Cor) measuring
modes.
5
Erase all old data in the KT-9s memory.
6
Run the
S
TICK
program on your computer. A typical session
follows and is shown in Figure 21:

puter, turn on the KT-9, select either the
