Why is there slow or no water coming from my Express Water Filtration Systems RO faucet?
    • S
      Sara NunezJul 28, 2025
Several factors can cause slow or no water from your RO faucet. If the system is just starting up, it normally takes 2-3 hours to fill the tank; low water pressure and/or temperature can reduce the production rate. Other causes include low air pressure in the water storage tank (add pressure to 8-10 PSI when the tank is empty), a closed tank valve (add a booster pump), low water pressure (make sure tubing is straight), crimps in the tubing (replace filters), clogged prefilters (replace filters), or a fouled RO membrane (replace filters).

What to do if my Express Water Filtration Systems is leaking?
    • A
      Amy SanchezAug 2, 2025
If your system is leaking, check the following: ensure fittings are tightened, reinforce tubing into connections, replace the O-Ring if it's twisted, realign the drain saddle if the hole is misaligned, and replace Teflon tape with 7-10 rounds on threaded connections. Tighten fittings as necessary.

How to fix bad taste or smell in water from Express Water Filtration Systems?
    • L
      Lindsey LeeAug 7, 2025
An offensive smell or taste can occur if the drain line is clogged (replace Inline Post Carbon Filter), the Inline Post Carbon Filter is depleted (replace RO Membrane), the RO Membrane is fouled (drain and refill the Water Storage Tank), or sanitizer wasn't flushed out (drain and refill the Water Storage Tank).

Why is my Express Water Filtration Systems making noise?
    • S
      Sara GreenAug 12, 2025
Noise from the system can be attributed to a few causes: an air gap in the faucet (this will disappear after system shutdown), the location of the drain saddle (relocate it above the P-Trap), or restrictions in the drain line (blockage sometimes caused by debris from garbage disposal or dishwasher).

Why is the water from my Express Water Filtration Systems milky?
    • G
      garrettdebraAug 17, 2025
Milky colored water is normal when initially starting up the Elite RO system. This is due to air in the system and will disappear with normal use within 1 to 2 weeks.
