If your eyepower red is not showing a constant blue light (fully charged) after a few hours on
charge then please check the following:
1) Make sure the cable is connected correctly as outlined above.
2) If the plug is connected correctly and no constant blue light after 5 or 6 hours, then your USB
charger plug may not deliver enough current to charge the device fully.
If this is the case, then try swapping to a different charger plug. Most modern mobile phone
charger plugs, such as Apple or Samsung, work well.
A red USB ‘C’ type cable is supplied with the eyepower red The larger end is plugged in to a
USB charger plug, while the smaller ‘C’ plug is pushed firmly in to the socket on the base of the
eyepower red . The indicator light will flash blue depending on the battery and charging state.
Please ensure that you push the ‘C’ plug firmly into the base - it is quite a tight fit and will not
move around once it is fully inserted.
Your eyepower red uses an internal rechargeable battery to power the device. As the
electronics are always ‘on’ there is a continual drain on the battery, so depending on usage, you will
need to recharge it very 2 to 3 weeks. However, for convenience you may want to give the battery a
weekly boost rather than waiting for it to run low. The indicator light will flash blue depending on
the battery and charging state as outlined below:

The cable is held firmly in place and
should not loose when touched.
