Connect the pressure gauge to the pre-pressure nipple and
measure the pre-pressure while the burner is burning. Light the
hearth. Use the chart in appendix 3 to determine the burner
pressure and the lowest flame pressure.
Connect the pressure gauge to the burner nipple. Turn the hearth
to its highest setting and then to its lowest setting.
Use the set screws to adjust the burner pressure and the lowest
flame pressure.
Turn clockwise to lower the pressure and counter clockwise to
increase the pressure.
3.8 HEARTH SECURITY FEATURES
A security feature prevents the Lumina from being lit if the
dampers are closed (see fig. 7).
The Lumina is completely protected by a thermo-electric pilot light
system, which prevents gas from escaping from the burner
unintentionally.
In addition, the Lumina is equipped with a SIT OXYPILOT series
9000. This atmospheric safety feature is activated before the flue
gas reaches a CO level of 200 ppm. This can happen if there is
insufficient ventilation and/or if the chimney does not have enough
draught. If the atmospheric safety feature is activated repeatedly,
notify your installer.

3.9 PLACEMENT OF THE WOOD SET
Note: To ensure proper burning, the wood set may only be
arranged according to the instructions provided by FABER (fig. 8).
Other placement can cause soot.
First scatter the small bag with embers over the burner surface
before you place the woodblocks.
The two largest blocks must be placed on the left and in the
middle, the smaller block II on the right and the small "razor" III
across number I.
