Fagor 3FAC-8425X - Adjust the Humidity Level Inside the Vitcontrol Box


- This function sets the temperature to 5°C inside the refrigerator compartment
and to –18°C inside the freezer compartment. To activate the Smart function, press
repeatedly until the indicator comes on and then press to conrm.
- Child lock function locks the control panel. To activate the Child Lock
function touch and hold for 3 seconds and will be displayed. The control
panel buttons will be inactive (except for ). To deactivate the Child Lock
function when is displayed, touch and hold the button for 3 seconds. The
symbol will disappear and the buttons will be active. Note: The Child Lock
function activates automatically after about 3 minutes when the appliance door is
not opened and the control panel is not used.

If the appliance door remains open for more than 3 minutes, you will hear beeping.
Close the door properly to mute the beeping.

If the temperature inside the freezer compartment exceeds –10°C, the freezer
compartment symbol will ash on the display. When the temperature drops below
–10°C, the symbol will stop ashing.

In the event of a power outage, the appliance settings will not be reset. When the
power is restored, the appliance will operate with the same settings as before the
power outage.

The appliance noties the failure of some components. Contact the service centre
when E0, E1, E2, EH or EC appears on the display. The appliance will continue to
operate despite the error symbol displayed on the control panel.


Various products, such as fruit or vegetables, require a suitable level of humidity in
order to stay fresh longer. VitControl box is equipped with a slider (Fig. 17), so the
box can be supplied with more air, which will change the humidity level inside the
box.

Fruits require lower humidity level, therefore air supply must be opened with a slider.
With vegetables it is the other way round, to keep them fresh longer, you should
close the air ow with a slider. The exact slider position depends on your own pref-
erences.
