QUICK START GUIDE: 3FE-8812X

Dear Customer,

This Quick Start Guide is enclosed with detailed washing

machine operating instructions. Before using the appliance

carefully read the Operating Instructions, especially

guidelines for safe use.

Before plugging the washing machine into the mains,

remove the safety packaging and ensure the machine is level.

Do not start the washing machine before it is properly

set up.

Only wash delicate fabrics, synthetics, wool using

designated programs. Such fabrics should only be washed in

the maximum load sizes recommended (see page 2.).

The correct washing machine operation extends its lifetime

so make sure the drum seal is dry (leave the door ajar after

washing). Do not clean the washing machine with harsh or

abrasive detergents.

Preparing to wash1

Empty pockets

Close all zips and button up duvet covers.

Wash delicate and small items in a protective mesh

laundry bag.

Open the door of the washing machine by gripping

the door and the door handle on the inside of the

door.

Insert the sorted clothes into the washing machine:

Cotton — max full drum.

Synthetics — max ½ of the drum.

Silk, wool — max 1/3 of the drum.

Close the door, press rmly against the seal.

Add detergent2

Open the detergent drawer. Pull the handle.

Pour the recommended dose of washing detergent

into the appropriate compartment of the detergent

drawer.

Add fabric conditioner to the appropriate

compartment if required.

MAIN WASH detergent.

Fabric softener or other special care liquids.

PREWASH detergent.

OptiDose — automatic (liquid) detergent

dispensing*

The OptiDose button is used for automated

dispensing of liquid detergent. You can choose the

detergent dose — small, medium, large — or turn o

the system.

Press and hold the OptiDose button for 3 seconds

to turn o the OptiDose option. Press and hold the

OptiDose button for 3 seconds again to turn on the

OptiDose option.

Set the programme selector knob to the desired

programme.

Customize the programme to your needs — you

can change the temperature, spin speed, or

enable additional features.

Select additional functions. The additional

functions are described on the control panel and

in the “Table of Wash Programmes” (see page 2) .

Select START4

Close the appliance door.

Set the programme selector dial to the desired

programme (see page 2).

Select additional functions or wash cycle

parameters as required – according to your

needs.

Select time remaining ranging from 1 to 24

hours.

Then press the START/ PAUSE button

End of the wash5

End of the wash cycle is indicated by acoustic signal

(if active). The display shows END and the door lock

indicator light goes out.

Close the water valve.

Turn washing machine o.

Unplug the appliance from the mains.

Open the door and remove laundry. Once clothes

are removed, leave the door slightly ajar to allow the

drum seal to dry before the door is closed properly.

Leave the detergent drawer compartment slightly

ajar to allow it to dry.

Function Description

The 3FE-8812X is a washing machine designed to clean various types of fabrics using a range of pre-set programmes and customizable options. It features a detergent drawer for adding washing detergent, fabric softener, and prewash detergent. The machine includes a drum where clothes are placed for washing, a programme selector dial to choose the desired wash cycle, and a control panel with a display for monitoring and adjusting settings. A door handle allows access to the drum, and a pump filter cover provides access for maintenance.

The washing machine offers a variety of programmes tailored for different fabric types and soil levels. These include cycles for Cotton, Cotton Eco, Daily 58', Shirts, Physical fitness, Out-of-home advertising, Dark, Synthetics, Autoclean, Rinse, Hand wash, Wool, Delicate, Express 15', Antiallergic, and Favourites. Each programme comes with default temperature and spin speed settings, which can often be adjusted. Additional functions like Steam, Rapid Wash, Extra Rinse, Prewash, and Soil Level can be selected to customize the wash cycle further. The OptiDose system, available on selected models, provides automated dispensing of liquid detergent, allowing users to choose small, medium, or large doses, or to turn the system off.

The control panel features buttons for adjusting temperature, spin speed, and selecting additional options. It also includes a display that shows the time remaining for the wash cycle, temperature, and spin speed. The machine provides an acoustic signal at the end of the wash cycle, and the display shows "END" with the door lock indicator light going out.

Usage Features

Preparing to wash: Before starting a wash, users should empty pockets, close all zips and buttons on duvet covers, and place delicate or small items in a protective mesh laundry bag. The door of the washing machine is opened by gripping the door handle. Clothes should be sorted and loaded into the drum according to fabric type and recommended maximum load sizes:

Cotton: max full drum
Synthetics: max 1/2 of the drum
Silk, wool: max 1/3 of the drum After loading, the door should be closed firmly against the seal.

Adding detergent: The detergent drawer is opened by pulling the handle. The recommended dose of washing detergent should be poured into the main wash compartment. Fabric softener or other special care liquids can be added to their designated compartment. Prewash detergent can be added to the prewash compartment. For models with OptiDose, the system automatically dispenses liquid detergent, with dose options (small, medium, large) or the ability to turn it off by pressing and holding the OptiDose button for 3 seconds.

Program selections: The programme selector knob is used to choose the desired wash programme. Users can customize the programme by changing the temperature, spin speed, or enabling additional features. Additional functions are described on the control panel and in the "Table of Wash Programmes."

Starting the wash: After closing the appliance door and setting the programme dial, users can select additional functions or wash cycle parameters as required. The time remaining can be set from 1 to 24 hours. The wash cycle is then started by pressing the START/PAUSE button.

End of the wash: At the end of the wash cycle, an acoustic signal indicates completion. The display will show "END," and the door lock indicator light will go out. Users should close the water valve and turn off the washing machine. The appliance should be unplugged from the mains.

Maintenance Features

Post-wash care: After removing laundry, the door should be left slightly ajar to allow the drum seal to dry properly. Similarly, the detergent drawer compartment should be left slightly ajar to allow it to dry. This helps prevent the growth of fungi, moulds, and bacteria, extending the lifetime of the washing machine.

Cleaning: The Autoclean programme is a special cycle (no load) that sterilizes the inner and outer drum at 90-95°C, cleaning it from allergens and pathogens. This programme helps maintain the hygiene of the machine.

General advice: Only wash delicate fabrics, synthetics, and wool using their designated programmes and recommended maximum load sizes. The drum seal should be kept dry. Harsh or abrasive detergents should not be used to clean the washing machine.
