QUICK START GUIDE: 3FE-9814X
Dear Customer,
This Quick Start Guide is enclosed with detailed washing
machine operating instructions. Before using the appliance
carefully read the Operating Instructions, especially
guidelines for safe use.
Before plugging the washing machine into the mains,
remove the safety packaging and ensure the machine is level.
Do not start the washing machine before it is properly
set up.
Only wash delicate fabrics, synthetics, wool using
designated programs. Such fabrics should only be washed in
the maximum load sizes recommended (see page 2.).
The correct washing machine operation extends its lifetime
so make sure the drum seal is dry (leave the door ajar after
washing). Do not clean the washing machine with harsh or
abrasive detergents.
Preparing to wash1
Empty pockets
Close all zips and button up duvet covers.
Wash delicate and small items in a protective mesh
laundry bag.
Open the door of the washing machine by gripping
the door and the door handle on the inside of the
door.
Insert the sorted clothes into the washing machine:
Cotton — max full drum.
Synthetics — max ½ of the drum.
Silk, wool — max 1/3 of the drum.
Close the door, press rmly against the seal.
Add detergent2
*Open the detergent drawer. Pull the handle.
Pour the recommended dose of washing detergent
into the appropriate compartment of the detergent
drawer.
Add fabric conditioner to the appropriate
compartment if required.
MAIN WASH detergent.
Fabric softener or other special care liquids.
PREWASH detergent.
OptiDose — automatic (liquid) detergent
dispensing*
The OptiDose button is used for automated
dispensing of liquid detergent. You can choose the
detergent dose — small, medium, large — or turn o
the system.
Press and hold the OptiDose button for 3 seconds
to turn o the OptiDose option. Press and hold the
OptiDose button for 3 seconds again to turn on the
OptiDose option.

Set the programme selector knob to the desired
programme.
Customize the programme to your needs — you
can change the temperature, spin speed, or
enable additional features.
Select additional functions. The additional
functions are described on the control panel and
in the “Table of Wash Programmes” (see page 2) .
Select START4
Close the appliance door.
Set the programme selector dial to the desired
programme (see page 2).
Select additional functions or wash cycle
parameters as required – according to your
needs.
Select time remaining ranging from 1 to 24
hours.
Then press the START/ PAUSE button
End of the wash5
End of the wash cycle is indicated by acoustic signal
(if active). The display shows END and the door lock
indicator light goes out.
Close the water valve.
Turn washing machine o.
Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Open the door and remove laundry. Once clothes
are removed, leave the door slightly ajar to allow the
drum seal to dry before the door is closed properly.
Leave the detergent drawer compartment slightly
ajar to allow it to dry.

General Operation and Safety

For delicate fabrics, synthetics, and wool, only designated programs should be used, and these fabrics should be washed within the recommended maximum load sizes. Proper washing machine operation extends its lifetime, so users are advised to keep the drum seal dry by leaving the door ajar after washing. Preparing to Wash

The preparation process involves several steps:

  1. Empty pockets: Ensure all pockets are empty before loading clothes.
  2. Close zips and buttons: All zips and buttons on duvet covers should be closed.
  3. Use laundry bags: Delicate and small items should be placed in a protective mesh laundry bag.
  4. Open the door: The washing machine door is opened by gripping the door and its handle from the inside.
  5. Load clothes: Sorted clothes are inserted into the machine.
    • Cotton: Max full drum.
    • Synthetics: Max 1½ of the drum.
    • Silk, wool: Max 1/3 of the drum.
  6. Close the door: The door should be closed firmly, ensuring it presses against the seal.

Adding Detergent

Detergent is added through a dedicated drawer:

  1. Open the detergent drawer: Pull the handle to open the drawer.
  2. Pour detergent: The recommended dose of washing detergent is poured into the appropriate compartment.
  3. Add fabric conditioner: Fabric conditioner or other special care liquids are added to their designated compartment if required.
    • Compartments are available for MAIN WASH detergent, Fabric softener, and PREWASH detergent.
  4. OptiDose system: For models equipped with OptiDose, automatic liquid detergent dispensing is available. Users can select small, medium, or large doses, or turn off the system. To turn off/on OptiDose, press and hold the OptiDose button for 3 seconds.

Program Selections

The washing machine offers a variety of programs and customization options:

  1. Set program: The program selector knob is used to choose the desired program.
  2. Customize program: Users can adjust the temperature, spin speed, or enable additional features to suit their needs.
  3. Select additional functions: Additional functions are described on the control panel and in the "Table of Wash Programmes."

Starting a Wash

To start a wash cycle:

  1. Close the appliance door.
  2. Set the program selector dial to the desired program.
  3. Select additional functions or wash cycle parameters as required.
  4. Set time remaining: Users can select a time ranging from 1 to 24 hours.
  5. Press START/PAUSE button.

End of the Wash

Once the wash cycle is complete:

  1. Acoustic signal: An acoustic signal indicates the end of the cycle (if active).
  2. Display: The display shows "END," and the door lock indicator light goes out.
  3. Close water valve: The water valve should be closed.
  4. Turn off machine: The washing machine should be turned off.
  5. Unplug: Unplug the appliance from the mains.
  6. Remove laundry: Open the door and remove the laundry.
  7. Dry drum seal: Leave the door slightly ajar to allow the drum seal to dry before closing the door properly.
  8. Dry detergent drawer: Leave the detergent drawer compartment slightly ajar to allow it to dry.

Control Panel and Display Features

The control panel features several buttons and indicators:

  • Time Remaining button (7): Displays the remaining time for the wash cycle.
  • Temperature button (8): Allows adjustment of the wash temperature.
  • Spin Speed button (9): Allows adjustment of the spin speed.
  • Options button (10): Accesses additional wash options.
  • Rapid Wash button (11): Activates a rapid wash cycle.
  • Opti Dose button (12): Controls the automatic detergent dispensing system.
  • Acoustic Signal On/Off (8+9): Buttons 8 and 9 pressed together control the acoustic signal.
  • Child Lock (11+12): Buttons 11 and 12 pressed together activate the child lock.
  • Pause button: Touch and hold for approximately 3 seconds to activate the Add+ system, allowing items to be added during a cycle.

The display shows:

  • Time: Remaining time for the cycle (e.g., 8:88).
  • Load: Indication of load size (e.g., kg).
  • Temperature: Current or selected temperature (e.g., 88°C).
  • Spin Speed: Current or selected spin speed (e.g., 1800 rpm).
  • Options icons: Various icons representing selected options (e.g., Steam, Antyalergiczne, Codzienne, Wełna).

Wash Programs

The machine offers a comprehensive range of wash programs, each with specific settings and recommended uses:

  1. Cotton Eco:

    • Default Temp: 60°C, Max Spin: 1400 RPM, Max Load: 9 kg.
    • Time: 4:08.
    • Use: Moderately or heavily soiled cotton clothes, bed linen, table linen, undergarments, towels, linen fabrics.
  2. Cotton:

    • Default Temp: 40°C, Max Spin: 1400 RPM, Max Load: 9 kg.
    • Time: 2:58.
    • Use: Heavily soiled clothing, or moderately soiled cotton and linen for children that requires boiling.
  3. Everyday:

    • Default Temp: 60°C, Max Spin: 1400 RPM, Max Load: 2 kg.
    • Time: 1:16.
    • Use: Full and effective washing cycle in less than 1 hour. One of the shortest washing programs, offering convenience and saving time.
  4. Shirts:

    • Default Temp: 40°C, Max Spin: 800 RPM, Max Load: 4.5 kg.
    • Time: 1:32.
    • Use: Dirty cotton, clothing made from synthetic fabrics or natural-synthetic fabric blends (shirts, blouses).
  5. Sport:

    • Default Temp: 30°C, Max Spin: 1000 RPM, Max Load: 4.5 kg.
    • Time: 2:00.
    • Use: Sports wear and leisure wear with Microfibre.
  6. Outdoor:

    • Default Temp: 30°C, Max Spin: 800 RPM, Max Load: 4.5 kg.
    • Time: 1:31.
    • Use: Special program for washing outerwear, sportswear, which is often waterproof. Allows adding a hydrophobic coating to the rinse aid compartment to increase water resistance.
  7. Dark Clothes:

    • Default Temp: 40°C, Max Spin: 1000 RPM, Max Load: 4.5 kg.
    • Time: 2:26.
    • Use: Lightly soiled delicate synthetics, or synthetic and cotton blends.
  8. Synthetics:

    • Default Temp: 40°C, Max Spin: 800 RPM, Max Load: 4.5 kg.
    • Time: 2:17.
    • Use: Dirty cotton, synthetics, coloured laundry, linen fabrics.
  9. Drum Clean:

    • Default Temp: 90°C, Max Spin: 600 RPM, Max Load: --.
    • Time: 1:18.
    • Use: A special program (no load) that sterilizes (90-95°C) and cleans the inner and outer drum from allergens and pathogens like fungi, molds, bacteria.
  10. Rinse&Spin:

    • Default Temp: --, Max Spin: 1400 RPM, Max Load: 9 kg.
    • Time: 0:20.
    • Use: For rinsing with additives (such as anti-static or softening additives). Users can reduce the spin speed when washing very delicate fabrics.
  11. Steam Refresh:

    • Default Temp: --, Max Spin: --, Max Load: --.
    • Time: 0:15.
    • Use: This program does not use water for classic washing; it only uses steam to refresh laundry. It can easily get rid of bad odors or just make lightly used shirts fresh again.
  12. Wool:

    • Default Temp: 40°C, Max Spin: 600 RPM, Max Load: 2 kg.
    • Time: 1:07.
    • Use: Note: Do not machine wash woolen fabrics if the cloth tag prohibits.
  13. Delicate:

    • Default Temp: 30°C, Max Spin: 600 RPM, Max Load: 2.5 kg.
    • Time: 0:50.
    • Use: Very delicate fabrics, e.g., silk.
  14. Quick Wash:

    • Default Temp: Cold water, Max Spin: 800 RPM, Max Load: 2 kg.
    • Time: 0:15.
    • Use: Lightly soiled, sweaty cotton and linen clothes. Note: Due to the extra short wash cycle, less detergent is required compared to other programs.
  15. Anti-Allergy:

    • Default Temp: 60°C, Max Spin: 800 RPM, Max Load: 4.5 kg.
    • Time: 4:41.
    • Use: Designed for washing clothes of people with sensitive skin, e.g., for children.
  16. My program:

    • Use: To save frequently used program settings.

Detergent Usage Guidelines

  • O: Use detergent or fabric softener if necessary.
  • Detergent required: Detergent is required, without which washing will be ineffective.
  • X: Do not use detergent or fabric softener.

Important Notes

  • Standard programs for washing cotton fabrics at 60°C and 40°C are suitable for normally soiled cotton fabrics. These are the most effective programs for washing these types of fabrics, taking into account total energy and water consumption.
  • Real water temperature may differ from the declared wash cycle temperature.
  • The displayed time is an estimate and may differ from actual wash cycle time, depending on temperature, water pressure, load size, etc. The time is automatically updated during the wash cycle. Displaying the same time for an extended period or abrupt changes are normal.
