Press the pressure reduction button and sign will appear and the appliance will
remove the pressure in a controlled manner.
Steam gets out from the steam valve at intervals when the pressure decreases. When the
pressure inside the appliance is over, sign will disappear. First bring the cover lock on
position. After, open the cover by pressing on/off latch.
NOTE!:
When the pressure reduction button is pressed, pressure inside the appliance starts
getting out. If the pressure relief in the appliance is not completed or the pressure is
not decreased to a safe level, you are not able to switch the appliance cover to open
position. With the temperature sensor on the cover, the pressure inside is checked and
thus kept at a safe point. This is a safety measure. When the steam level inside the
appliance reaches a safe level, even if the sign appears on the appliance cover,
you can unlock the top cover and uncover the appliance.
WARNING!
Burning Hazard
You can accelerate the steam relief by lifting the steam valve cover with the aid of a
tong, but it’s not recommended due to burning hazard. Stay away from the steam during
the steam relief.
NOTE!:
Each cooking program has its own set temperature or pressure. If the pressure is xed
in the cooking program you select, if you do not lock the top cover, the appliance will
not work and (EO) sign will appear. It means the appliance is not working. From the
appliance’s factory settings table, you can check which programs are running when it is
uncovered.
NOTE!:
If you want to cook while the appliance cover is open in the cooking program in which
the pressure is xed, turn the cover lock to closed position, otherwise the appliance will
not work.
