After using one of the Advanced methods to pick the bands, you will pair
them with the transmitter and then calibrate.
BASIC - QUICK SCAN PAIR
STEP 1 OF 8
Before You Start
Basic - Quick Scan Pair
scans noise and selects the best frequencies for the
preset Up and Down bands. These presets may not be the best bands for the
jobsite.
Use
Advanced - Scan Pick Pair t
o view noise on all bands.
STEP 2 OF 8
Ensure all transmitters are powered o
ff
or more than 30.5 m away from the
locator.
Inspect the job site and move locator to active noise area of concern or deep
part of bore - keep locator above and parallel to bore path.

From the Main menu, select
Quick Scan Pair

rm the pre-set bands and the power mode.
