Open the enclosure to reveal its internal structure for HDD installation.
Insert the HDD to connect the SATA connector to the electronic board.
Fasten the HDD using screws or the provided fixing pad.
Reassemble the enclosure by screwing the rear cover back on.
Use the stand for vertical positioning or mount rubber feet for horizontal placement.
Connect the FANTEC DB-ALU3 to your PC via USB and turn on the power.
Right-click 'My Computer', select 'Manage', then 'Disk Management' to find the unallocated HDD.
Right-click the 'Unallocated' block and select 'New Partition' to start the wizard.
Follow the New Partition Wizard instructions to complete the partitioning process.
After partitioning, double-click 'My Computer' to see the new volume appear on your PC.
