The following indoor coils and air handlers are designed and approved for use with the CH series units. Refer to the installation instructions
supplied with the indoor coils and air handler for installation detail. Some of the following information may not be included in those instructions
and is specific to the application of the CH series heat pump systems. If a different air handler is to be used with the matching indoor coil, refer
to the coil pressure-drop information for duct sizing requirements.
* Indoor pressure in inches based on dry coil. Increase pressure drop 25% for wet coil pressure drop.
All CH10 series outdoor units are shipped with pistons. Refer to Figure 1 on page 11 for proper installation.
* Indoor pressure based on dry coil. Increase pressure drop 25% for wet coil pressure drop.
All CH12 series units are to be matched with the air handler listed. These indoor units use a non-bleed-type expansion valve. Never use a
piston on the indoor coil when installing with a CH12 model unit. Refer to the instructions in Figure 2 on page 11 for installation of
expansion valve to indoor unit. TXV kits must be purchased as an accessory kit and are required to complete system installation.
