If less air is circulated or the noise from the blower
increases, this means that the ventilation wheel is dirty.
As a rule, the heating elment casing and vacuum pipe
should be removed from the heating element approxi-
mately every 500 hours of operation and the ventilation
wheel should be gently cleaned with a thin brush.

Heating with an „open re“ reecting panel

The switch on the reecting panel of the heater allows
you to switch the optical image of a re and/or the
accompanying sounds on and o separately.
The manufacturer, TRUMA
®
, recommends the fol-
lowing for cleaning the front screen of the „open re“
reecting panel: For safety reasons, the front screen
consists of Makrolon polycarbonate, which scratches
very easily. Use non-synthetic bres for cleaning (with
the exception of imitation chamois window cloths). A
tried and tested product, for example, is the window
cloth made by Vileda). Cleaning the screen (either wet
or dry with a cleaning solution which evaporates while
cleaning) with cloths made of synthetic bres would
cause the front screen to become charged with static
electricity, which attracts dust like a magnet. The front
screen should, therefore, always be cleaned with a
damp chamois cloth or imitation (as described above)
using suitable window cleaning solutions (the following
products have been tried and tested: Glasfee, Sidolin
streifenfrei. Before being used, these cloths should be
rinsed out well to ensure there is no dust on them that
might scratch the surface.
Hot-water heating system
(optional; not part of standard delivery)
Heating while driving is forbidden. Exception: when
using a licensed gas ow monitor (e.g. Truma-Duo-
Control CS).
The Compact 3020 LPG heater is a hot-water heating system
which heats hot water separately (contents: 8.5 l). It is possible to
heat up the heating system without lling the hot-water
heater with fresh water.
The place of installation may vary, depending on the model
and design.
