• If the black perforated knee pad of the inlay is dented in more than 0,5 cm please replace the inlays
immediately.
• If the wedge-shaped foam part of the inlay is dented in to 3 cm height or otherwise shows visible
wear and tear, please replace inlays immediately.
• After use, these kneepads are disposed of in the household waste.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
• When not in use, store the kneepads in a well-ventilated area away from extremes of temperature.
Never store the kneepads underneath heavy items or in contact with sharp objects.
• Use suitable protective packaging to transport the kneepads.
• Close the hook and loop side of the elastic straps when the kneepads are stored.

KNEE PROTECTOR TYPES
• Type 1: protectors independently fastened on leg
• Type 2: protectors placed in kneepad pockets on trousers
• Type 3: protectors not attached to body
• Type 4: protectors attached to devices with additional functions
All knee protector types are tested on the following properties: Penetration resistance, force
distribution, peak transmitted force, ergonomic (e.g. restraint and comfort during use).
PERFORMANCE LEVELS
• Level 0: knee protectors suitable only for use on flat floor surfaces and providing no protection
against penetration.
• Level 1: knee protectors suitable for use on flat or non-flat floor surfaces and providing protection
against penetration at a force of at least (100 ± 5] N.
• Level 2: knee protectors suitable for use on flat or non-flat floor surfaces in severe conditions and
providing protection against penetration at a force of at least (250 ± 10] N.
The kneepads are designed to protect the user from pebbles, nails and other small items on hard and
flat surfaces. The kneepads have a level 1 performance level, which offer protection against punctures
up to a force of 100N.
GUARANTEE
• The date of manufacturing (year-month) is found underneath the bottom elastic strap at the front
side of the knee protector.
• FENTO Knee Protection is not liable for injury that may result from improper use of the FENTO Knee
Protector.
WARNING
• The kneepads are not designed as protection in the case of difficult ground conditions, such as
sharp stones that have a point pressure higher than 100 N and are larger than 1 cm. (e.g. in mines or
quarries).
• The knee protector is not suited for purposes that are not related to kneeling such as driving a car or
walking the stairs, nor does the knee protector protect against falling.
• Any contamination, alteration to the protector, or misuse of the knee protector would dangerously
reduce the performance of the protector.
• There are no known cases of allergies to the materials used for the production of these kneepads.
The materials used are - according to the information currently available - not carcinogenic,
mutagenic or toxic to human reproduction.
• Work in kneeling position involves the risk of chronic diseases caused by continuous pressure on the
knees. No knee protector can ensure that workers will not suffer medical complications if they are
required to kneel for long periods. However, knee protectors should slow the process of these chronic
diseases.
