Wire Correctly

Follow wire color coding (Blue-Neutral, Brown-Live) and secure mains cable firmly in the plug cord grip.

Before Using the Planer

Before Operating

Check voltage, plug, lead condition. Use only on dry surfaces. Be cautious with old painted surfaces.

Fitting the Shaving Collector Bag

Attach the bag to the dust exhaust hole. Empty frequently. It can be removed for dust extractor attachment.

Fitting the Planer Guide

Loosen the guide lock knob, slide the guide assembly arm, and tighten. Secure the knob when not in use.

Using the Planer

Operation

Ensure switch is OFF, plug into mains, route cable, then switch ON. Release button (E) after starting.

To Adjust the Planing Depth

Turn the height control knob (A) to set the depth. The pointer indicates depth in mm on scale (B).

To Make a Cut

Place planer on workpiece, switch on, let to full speed, then move forward gently. Keep planer flat.

During Use

Secure workpiece, let machine reach full speed, use gentle pressure, check for nails, keep moving straight.

Maintenance, Care and Repair

Cleaning

Wear protective equipment. Do not use water or flammable liquids. Clean with a soft brush.

Fitting/Replacing the Drive Belt

Switch off and unplug. Remove cover, pull old belt off pulleys, fit new belt, and replace cover.

Replacing the Planer Blades

Switch off and unplug. Use gloves. Undo nuts, remove old blade, install new blade, tighten screws, check clearance.

Faults

Troubleshoot issues like damaged plug/cable, defective switch, overheating, no shavings removal, or no start.
