4. After the rst two hours of work, stop and make sure that all nuts and
screws are securely fastened, and tighten them if necessary.
Maintenance
Air lter
Accumulated dust in the air lter will reduce engine eciency, increase fuel
consumption and allow abrasive particles to pass into the engine.
Remove the air lter as often as necessary to maintain a clean condition.
1. Remove the air lter cover (3) by completely
loosening the air lter cover locking knob (41)
in an anti clockwise direction.
When the locking knob is loose enough, the air
lter cover can be removed (Fig AQ).
2. Light surface dust can readily be removed by
tapping the lter. Heavy deposits should be
washed out in suitable detergent. Do not use
petrol or other chemical cleaners/solvent.
3. Squeeze out the remaining water and allow the lter to completely dry,
and replace it.
4. Replace the air lter (40). When tted back in place, secure the air lter
locking knob (41) by rotating the knob in a clockwise direction.
The air lter should be changed after approximately every 50 hours or
sooner when used in high dust environments.
