  To avoid sanding grooves on the surface when using your Festool sander: * If a hard sanding pad is set down on the surface at an angle, use sanding pad IP with interface pad. * If the sanding pad is too hard or the abrasive grit is too coarse for very soft repair compound, use sanding pad IP with interface pad. * Select a finer abrasive grit (Brilliant 2 abrasive with grit up to P 320).
