Indoor unit fan stops for about ten minutes during
heating
It is defrosting the outdoor unit coil. It should complete
this process in about 10 minutes at most. It freezes
when outdoor temperature is low and humidity is high.
Unit issues cracking sounds These are friction sounds caused by expansion and
contraction of the front panel of the unit resulting from
temperature changes
You can hear the sound of running water It may be the sound of expanding refrigerant inside the
unit
Sound of accumulated water dropping on the heat
exchanger
Indoor unit issues “poosh” sound and click. Click sound is the fan and compressor when switching
on and off.
