Why is my Fisher & Paykel EB60 Coffee Maker coffee not hot?
    • A
      Ashley TuckerAug 12, 2025
If your coffee isn't hot enough, it might be because the cups weren't preheated. Try warming the cups by rinsing them with hot water, using the hot water function. Also, the infuser might have cooled down if a few minutes have passed since the last coffee was made. To fix this, heat the infuser before making coffee by using the rinse function.

What to do if my Fisher & Paykel EB60 Coffee Maker milk does not come out of the milk spout?
    • R
      Rhonda Choi DVMAug 17, 2025
If milk isn't coming out of the spout, several factors could be at play. First, the milk container lid might be dirty; clean it as instructed in the ‘Cleaning the milk container’ section. Second, the milk might not be cold enough, or it might not be light or skimmed milk. Use light or skimmed milk at refrigerator temperature (around 5°C or 41°F), or try a different brand. Third, the froth adjustment dial might be incorrectly adjusted; adjust it following the instructions in the ‘Adjusting the amount of froth’ section. Also, the froth adjustment dial could be dirty, so clean the milk container lid and froth adjustment dial. Finally, the hot water/steam connection nozzle could be dirty; clean the connection nozzle as described in the ‘Cleaning the hot water/steam connection nozzle’ section.

Why is my Fisher & Paykel EB60 Coffee Maker coffee weak?
    • S
      smithlaurenAug 21, 2025
If your coffee is weak or not creamy enough, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if a low coffee temperature is set and adjust to a hotter setting in the menu. Second, the coffee might be ground too coarsely. Adjust the grinding dial one click anticlockwise towards '1' while the mill is operating, repeating until you get the desired result. The effect will be noticeable after two coffees. If still not to your liking, try a different coffee brand. Alternatively, the coffee could be ground too finely, so turn the grinding adjustment dial one click clockwise towards '7' while the coffee mill is in operation. Finally, the coffee spouts might be blocked; clean them with a toothpick.

Why does my Fisher & Paykel EB60 Coffee Maker emit noises or steam when not in use?
    • K
      Karen AllenAug 27, 2025
The machine might emit noises or small puffs of steam while not in use because it's ready or has recently been turned off, and condensation is dripping into the hot vaporiser. This is normal; empty the drip tray to limit it. Also, the appliance may not have been turned off correctly. Turn it off by pressing the AUTO OFF button. During the two rinse cycles, the water tank may not have been filled to the MAX level; follow the appliance's instructions, but first empty the drip tray to prevent overflow.
