Motor operates for long periods

Minimize door openings and allow temperature to stabilize.

Storage compartments too warm

Check temperature control settings and ensure doors seal properly.

Food freezing in the refrigerator

Adjust temperature setting and move food away from air outlets.

Unfamiliar noises

Check cabinet stability and refer to installation or sounds guide.

Water in the vegetable bins

Condensation from produce is normal; wipe excess water.

Exterior of cabinet is warm

This is normal operation.

Warm spot on central door seal

Normal operation for French door models.

Condensation on outside of refrigerator/freezer

Not unusual during periods of high humidity. Wipe dry.

Door handles out of alignment

Check gasket sealing and refer to installation instructions.

Tray/bin does not slide in and out evenly

Check for trapped items or extend runners fully.

Appliance operating inefficiently

Check compartment cover for dust or contact Customer Care.

Cannot adjust temperature in frozen food compartment

Deactivate Bottle chill, fast freeze, or ice boost.

Automatic ice maker does not work

Check ice maker is on, bin placement, water supply, and pressure.

Ice cubes have odour/taste

Clean freezer, check water taste, seal packages, discard old cubes.

Slow ice cube freezing

Check water pressure, close door, and adjust temperature.

Wet ice/ice clumping

Unstick ice, empty bin, or check ambient temperature.

Filter warning light is flashing

Filter needs replacing. Replace filter as soon as possible.

Ice buildup inside freezer compartment

Ensure freezer door closes tightly and clean gasket seal.

Ice maker

Refer to 'ActiveSmart™ sounds' for normal operation.

Water has poor taste/odour

Dispense water to replenish supply or replace filter.

Water dispenser does not work

Check water supply, kinks, air in system, or filter. Toggle Dispenser Lock.

Water in first glass is warm

Dispense water after extended period or adjust temperature.

Drips

Allow water time to cool or flush dispenser.

Overflow drip-shelf

Dispense water after filter installation.

Water flow rate has slowed down

Filter cartridge is restricted. Replace filter.
