Now the machine is ready for use.
NOTES: Above simple operaon ensures
opmum dispensing and must be carried
out:
-When rst starng
-When the machine has been out of use for
a long me (1-2 weeks).
-When the tank has run out of water.
Usage
IMPORTANT - Make sure that the water
tank has water.
Switch the ON/OFF buon; the START
buon blinks.
Turn the switch to the ‘0’ posion to start
preheang. The START buon blinks a blue
light during preheang; it remains lit when
preheang is nished.
Note: when the machine nishes dispensing
coee or steaming, it will dispense an
amount of water into the drip tray and turn
the switch to the ‘0’ posion. This is normal.
Coee Mode
Select the desired lter (1 coee or 2
coees)
Place the lter in the lter holder.
Use the measure spoon to measure the
amount of ground coee powder for the
desired lter. Press evenly the coee
powder onto the lter with the at end of
the measure spoon/presser.
Insert the lter holder into the machine.
Insert the lter holder into the machine
from le to right unl it locks.
Place the cup on the grid below the coee
spout.
Note: Aer dispensing the coee, turn the
switch to the ‘0’ posion before removing
the lter holder.
Pre-infusion
Pre-infusion is the process of soaking, for a
few seconds, the ground coee in a small
amount of water, before proceeding with
the total extracon of the coee. The aim
is to ensure that the water passes evenly
throughout the ground coee, resulng in
a more ecient extracon.
For 1 espresso:
Turn the switch to the coee posion.
Press the START buon shortly. The blue
light of the START buon starts blinking,
the machine starts the pre-infusion for a
few seconds, and then dispenses coee.
Dispensing stops automacally, however
you can press the START buon again to
stop dispensing once you reach the desired
amount of coee. The blue START buon
light turns on.
Turn the switch back to the ‘0’ posion
to enter standby mode, remove the lter
holder by turning from right to le, clean
the lter holder, and dry it aer use.
For 2 espressos:
Turn the switch to the coee posion.
Press the START buon for 3 seconds. The
START buon starts blinking a purple light,
the machine starts the pre-infusion for a
few seconds, and then dispenses coee.
Dispensing stops automacally, however
you can press the START buon again to
stop dispensing once you reach the desired
amount of coee. The blue START buon
light turns on.
Turn the switch back to the ‘0’ posion
