English
If you want to stop heang, to get hot
water without boiling, just turn the on/o
switch to the “0” posion and it turns o
automacally (the indicator goes o).
If you want to reheat (reheat) the water, t
the kele to the power base, set the on/o
switch to the “I” posion to turn the kele
on (and the indicator light comes on).
Aer the water comes to a boil and the
kele switches o automacally, a few
drops of water may appear on the hopper.
This is normal, it results from condensaon
generated during operaon, and water
appears through the holes in the boom of
the kele.
Before pung the kele back into
operaon, unplug the plug from the socket
and wipe o the water with a dry, absorbent
cloth.
Never run the water kele with the power
base wet.
If by accident, pour water into the power
base, proceed as follows:
- disconnect the plug from the socket.
- clean the infeed base with a dry, absorbent
cloth.
- clean the surface where the power base
is placed.
- connect the plug to the socket and restart
use.
If you carelessly put the kele to work
without water, the safety device that
prevents overheang will actuate and turn
it o. In this situaon, remove the kele
from the feed base; let it cool down; ll with
water without exceeding the maximum
level indicator; place the kele on the
power base and reconnect.
Never put cold water in a very hot kele, as
you run the risk of geng burned.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Aer each use and before proceeding with
any cleaning operaon, always unplug the
plug from the socket and allow the kele
to cool down. Descaling extends the life of
the electric kele, improves its behaviour,
reduces electricity consumpon and
guarantees the correct funconing of the
safety system that prevents overheang.
Never immerse the kele or feed base in
water or any other liquid.
Clean the outside of the kele and the feed
base with a dry, absorbent cloth.
Do not use abrasive products.
How to remove the lter:
To remove the kele lter for cleaning,
remove the kele from the spout base and
allow to cool. Do not remove the kele
lter if it is sll hot or lled with water.
- Open the lid by pressing the open buon.
- Remove the lter. Carry out the cleaning
operaon.
Place the lter in the same place, making
sure it is properly placed.
Do not use the kele before making sure
the lter is correctly placed.
DESCALING
You should descale the electric kele
monthly, or more oen depending on the
lime scale in the water and how oen you
use the kele.
To remove limescale stains from the inside
of the body, periodically descale the jar
using one of the following methods:
- Use a liquid descaling agent, available in
commerce or at authorized Flama aer
