Suction Fan Speed / Air Control

Fan suction, is controlled primarily by changing the RPM of the fan wheel. This is achieved by changing
the driven sheave on the fan shaft, (See chart below). Raising or lowering the adjustable flap behind the suction fan
inlet tube will also vary the amount of suction. To increase suction, unhook the chain and lower the flap. To
decrease suction, raise the flap. The sliding, adjustable wind board under the plenum should be in the front holes
for walnuts and pecans, and in the back holes for almonds.

Primary Chain Bounce Shafts

The bounce shafts control primary chain vibration. The bounce shafts are set at the factory in the middle
position. To increase vibration raise shafts to top of slots. To decrease vibration, lower shaft to bottom of slots.
Note: If the primary bounce shafts are relocated to the top position, this will result in reduced chain life.
