CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS OR ANY OTHER
EXERCISE PROGRAM.
Before using this product, please consult your personal physician for a
complete physical examination. Your doctor should approve frequent and
strenuous exercise. If any discomfort should result from your use of this
product, immediately stop exercising and consult your doctor. Proper usage
of this product is essential. Please read this manual carefully prior to begin-
ning your workout.
What you should know before beginning:
How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition.
If you have been inactive for several years or are severely overweight, you
must start slowly and increase your time gradually, a few minutes per week.
Initially, you may be able to exercise only for a few minutes in your target
zone; however, your anaerobic fitness will improve over the next six to eight
weeks. Don’t be discouraged if it takes longer. It is important to work at
your own pace. Ultimately, you will be able to exercise continuously for 30
minutes. The better your anaerobic fitness, the harder you will have to work
to stay in your target zone.
Remember these essentials:
Consult your physician before beginning any exercise program to have your
training and diet program reviewed and to advise you on the routine that is
best suited to you individually.
Warm up your muscles by completing the warm-up section at the beginning
of each video workout. Do not overstretch or bounce while stretching.
