Using as a blower (figure P)
WARNING: Inspect the a rea
before using the product. Remove all
debris and hard objects s uch as rocks,
glass, wire, etc., that can ricochet, be
thrown, or otherwise cause injury or
damage during operation.
Use your product as a blower for:
D Sweeping debris or grass clippings from
driveways, sidewalks, patios, etc.
D Blowing grass clippings, straw , or leaves
into piles, or removing debris from
corners, around joints, or between
bricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one side. Always work
away fr om solid objects such as walks,
lar ge st ones, vehicles, and fences.
Cl ea n corn ers by starting in corners and
movi n g outw ard.
This will help prevent an accumulati on of
debr is which could fl y int o your face. Be
careful when wor ki ng near plants. The
for ce of the air could damage tender
plant s.

Using as a vacuum (figure R)
WARNING: Do not vacuum
stones, gravel, metal, broken glass, etc.,
to avoid severe damage to the impeller.
To avoid the possibi l i t y of electr ical
shock, do not att empt to vacuum water
or other liquids.
Use your product as a vac uum to pick
up dry material such as leaves, grass,
small twigs, and bits of pape r.
D For best results during vacuum use,
operate your product at high spe ed.
D Move slowly ba ck and forth o ver the
material a s you vacuum. Avoid
forcing the product into a pile of
debris as this can c log the product.
D Keep the vacuum tube about an inch
above the ground for best result s.
WARNING: If the product be-
comes clogged, switch off the product
and disconnect from the mains electri-
city supply. Wait until the impeller has
completely stopped turning, then re-
move the vacuum tubes. Carefully
reach into the vacuum opening and
clear out the c logged debris.
