Fault Finding Hints
Fails To Operate
1. Is the product switched on?
2. Is the blower
tube, vacuu m tubes,
or elbow tube/debris bag fitted cor-
rectly?
3. Check the fuse in the plug; if blown,
replace.
4. Fu se continues to blow?
Immediately disconnect from the
mains electricity supply and c on-
sult your local Approved Service
Centre.
Poor Blowing
1. Th e air inlets may be blocked;
clean all air inlets.
2. Blower outlet may be blocked.
Remove blower tube and clear
blockage.
3. If poor blowing persists?
Immediately disconnect from the
mains electricity supply and c on-
sult your local Approved Service
Centre.
Poor Vacuum
1. The air inlets may be blocked;
clean all air inlets.
2. The vacuum tubes, elbow tube or
debris bag inlet may be blocked.
Remove and clear blockage.
3. If poor v acuuming persists?
Immediately disconnect from the
mains electricity supply and con-
sult your local Approved Service
Centre
Excessive Vibration
1. Inspect the impeller for damage
and replace if necessary.
2. If exc essive vibration persists?
Immediately disconnect from the
mains electricity supply and con-
sult your local Approved Service
Centre.
Guarantee & Guarantee Policy
If any part is foun d to be defective due
to faulty manufacture within the guaran-
tee period, Husqvarna UK Ltd., through
its Authorised Service Repairers will
ef f ect the repair or replacement to the
customer free of charge providing:
(a) The fault is reported directly to the
Authorised Repairer.
(b) Proof of purchase is provided.
(c) The fault is not caused by misuse,
neglect or faulty adj ustm ent by the
user.
(d) The failure has not occ urred
through fair wear and tear.
(e) The machine ha s n ot been ser-
viced or repaired, taken apart or
tampered with by any person not
authorised by Husqvar na UK Ltd.
(f) The machine has not been used for
hire.
(g) The machine is owned by the origi-
nal purchaser.
(h) The machine has not been used
outside of the country for which it
was specified.
(i) Th e machine has not been used
comme rc ially.
*This guarantee is additional to, and in
no way diminishes the customers stat-
utory rights.
Failures due to the following are n ot
covered, therefore it is importan t that
you read the instructions contained in
this instruction manual and under--
stand how to operate and maintain
your machine:
Failures no t covered by guarantee
* Failures as a result of not reporting
an initial fault.
* Failures a s a result of sudden im-
pact.
* Failures as a result of not using the
product in accor dance with the in-
str ucti ons and recommendations
contained in this instruct ion manual.
* Machines used for hire are not cov-
ered by this guarantee.
* The following items listed are con-
sidered as wearing parts and their
life is dep endent on regular mainte-
nance and are, therefore not nor-
mally subject to a v alid warranty
claim: electric mains cable, debris
bag.
* Caution!
Husqvarna UK Ltd. does not accept
li abil i t y under the warr anty for defects
caused in whole or part, direct l y or
indi r ectl y by the fit t i ng of replacement
part s or additi onal parts that are not
eit her manufactur ed or approved by
Husqvarna UK Ltd., or by th e ma-
chine having been modified in any
way.
