Starting and Stopping
WARNING: You MUST make sur e
the tubes are secure before usi ng the unit .
WARNING: Do not use the unit
wit hout the tubes or collect ion bag proper-
ly attached to avoid flying debris and/or
impell er contact which can cause ser i ous
in j u ry. Always wear eye prote ction t o pr e-
vent rocks or debris fr om being blown or
ricocheti ng into the eyes and face which
can result in blindness or serious injury.

Using your unit as a blower
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks, glass,
wire, etc., that can ricochet, be thrown,
or otherwise cause injury or damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweeping deb ris or grass clippings
from driveways, sidewalks, patios ,
etc.
D Blowing grass clippings, straw, or
leaves into piles, or removing de-
bris fro m corners, around joints, or
between bricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one side. Always wor k
away from solid objects such as walks,
lar ge stones, vehicl es, and fences.
Cl ea n cor ners by starting in corner s and
moving outward. Thi s wil l help prevent
an accumulat i on of debr is which coul d
fly in t o your face. Be careful when
workingnearplants.Theforceoftheair
could damage tender plants.
Using you r unit as a vacuum
WARNING: Do not vacuum
stones, gravel, metal, b roken glass,
etc., to avoid severe damage to the im-
peller. To avoid the possibility of electri-
cal shoc k, do not attemptto vacuum wa-
ter or other liquids.
Use your unit as a vacuum to pick up
dry material such as leaves, grass,
small twigs , and bits of paper.
D Move s lowly back and forth ov er the
material as you vac uum. Avoid forc-
ing the unit into a pile of d ebris as
this can clog the unit.
D Keep the vacuum tube about an inch
above the ground f or best results.
WARNING: If the unit bec omes
clogged, stop the unit and d isconnect
the mains electricity s upply. Wait until
the impeller has c ompletely stopped
turning, then remove the vacuum tubes.
Carefully reach into the vacuum open-
ing and clear out the clogged debris.
Maintenance
WARNING: Stop the unit a nd dis-
connect the mains electricity supply be-
fore perfo rming maintenance.

ator abuse or negligence. To receive full
value from the warranty, the oper at or
must maintain unit as instructed in this
manual. Various adjustments will need
to be made per i odi call y to properly
maintain your unit.
