BAG:
1. Turn Latch to Open position and open
lid.
2. Place roll inside unit’s internal storage
space as indicated. Pull enough bag
material to edge until it is on top of
the sealing strip to make the rst seal
and close lid.
3. Turn Latch to Operate position.
4. Press Seal Button to seal open end
of bag. Wait until Seal Indicator Light
turns off.
5. Turn Latch to Open position, open
lid and pull enough bag material out
to desired length for whatever you
intend to vacuum seal and close lid.
6. Turn Latch to Operate position. Press
Seal Button to make seal for next
bag. While sealing, you can slide Bag
Cutter across to remove bag.

VACUUM SEAL FOODSAVER

ZIPPER
BAGS:
1. Prepare zipper bags according to
FoodSaver
®
Accessory Guidelines,
which are included with accessory
purchases. For zipper bags, make
sure not to put any food under
the valve and press zipper closed
with nger while bag is lying
down on a at surface.
2. Turn Latch to Operate position
and pull Built-in Handheld Sealer
from appliance.
3. Place Built-in Handheld Sealer on
zipper bag valve.
4. Press Mode Button (on select models) until the Indicator
Light next to Dry is illuminated. Then press Handheld Button
to vacuum.
Zipper bags are safe for pantry and fridge use only.
VACUUM SEAL A FOODSAVER
®
BAG:
1. Turn Latch to Open
position and open lid.
2. Place item(s) in bag,
allowing at least 3 inches
(7.62 cm) of space between
contents and open end of
bag. Place open end of bag
into Vacuum Channel (Drip
Tray) and close lid.
3. Turn Latch to Operate
position.
4. Press Vacuum Button
to begin vacuum and
sealing process of open
end of bag. Motor will
continue to run until bag
is fully vacuumed, then will
automatically seal.
5. When Seal Indicator Light turns off, turn Latch
to Open position and open lid. Remove bag.
Refrigerate, freeze or store as needed.

1. Prepare FoodSaver

Preserve & Marinate
Container according to
Guidelines, which are
included with container
purchase.
2. Turn Latch to Operate position and pull Built-in
Handheld Sealer from appliance.
3. Place Built-in Handheld Sealer on container valve.
4. Press Mode button (on select models) until the
Indicator Light next to Dry is illuminated. Then
press Handheld Button to vacuum.
To release vacuum and open, turn knob on lid to
Open.
