HAZARD WARNING FLASHERS

The hazard warning button is located on
the instrument panel. Use it when your
vehicle is creating a safety hazard for other
motorists.
Press the button to turn on the hazard
warning function, and the front and rear
direction indicators will flash.
Press the button again to turn them off.
Note: If used when the engine is not
running, the battery will lose charge. There
may be insufficient power to restart your
engine.
Note: Depending on applicable laws and
regulations in the country for which your
vehicle was originally built, the hazard
warning flashers may flash if you brake
heavily.
FIRST AID KIT (IF EQUIPPED)
Space is provided in the rear underfloor
storage compartment. See Rear Under
Floor Storage (page 147).
WARNING TRIANGLE
Space is provided in the luggage
compartment.
JUMP-STARTING THE VEHICLE
WARNINGS
Do not use fuel lines, engine rocker
covers or the intake manifold as
grounding points.
Connect batteries with only the same
nominal voltage.
WARNINGS
Always use booster cables with
insulated clamps and adequate size
cable.
Note: Do not disconnect the battery from
your vehicles electrical system.

1. Position the vehicles so that they do
