CREATING A PERSONAL
PROFILE
Use the touchscreen to create a personal
profile.
1. Switch the vehicle on and make sure
the transmission is in park (P).
2. Access the vehicle drawer on the
touchscreen
3. Press SETTINGS.
4. Press Personal Profiles.
5. Follow the instructions on the display.
Using Remote Vehicle Setup (If
Equipped)
When creating your first personal profile
online at the owner website or using
FordPass, you can use remote vehicle
setup to set up some non-positional
settings such as radio presets, navigation
favorites, charging locations nearby, and
departure and comfort settings.
1. Complete the setup online at the
owner website or using FordPass.
Note: You should have been invited to
complete the setup via email invitation
when you ordered your vehicle. You can also
add your VIN to FordPass Garage and see
a remote vehicle setup option show up
allowing you access to the same setup.
2. Send your profile to the vehicle using
your device.
Note: You must complete the setup within
10 days of your profile downloading to your
vehicle or it will be automatically deleted.
3. Switch the vehicle on and make sure
the transmission is in park (P).
4. When the welcome screen appears,
follow the instructions on the display.
Note: Do not navigate away while the
profile is being saved.

If you navigate away from the
welcome screen instructions,
press the RVS button in the
status bar to restart from step 4.
Note: After the remote vehicle setup profile
is applied in-vehicle, the feature deactivates
until a master reset occurs.
LINKING OR UNLINKING A
PERSONAL PROFILE TO A
REMOTE CONTROL
You can save preset memory positions for
up to three remote controls by assigning a
remote control to a personal profile using
the touchscreen.
Use the touchscreen to link a remote
control to a personal profile.
1. Switch the vehicle on and leave the
vehicle in park (P).
2. Select the Personal Profiles button
under Settings.
3. Touch the arrow for the profile you
wish to link to a remote control.
4. Select remote control.
5. Follow the instructions on the display.
Note: If more than one linked remote
control is in range, the memory function
moves to the settings of the first key to
initiate a memory recall.
Note: The guest profile consists of existing
settings when there is no driver profile
created. After you create a driver profile, the
guest profile serves as an additional driver
profile.
Note: You cannot link a remote control to
a guest profile.
