PHONE MENU
To make calls, select from your contacts, recent calls or dial the
number on the phone keypad. You can also adjust phone settings,
change devices or place your device in Do Not Disturb mode. The
Do Not Disturb mode rejects all incoming calls and switches o
ringtones and alerts.
If your phone has a voice service such as Siri or Google, you may
also see a button to access this feature in the phone menu.
RECEIVING CALLS
To accept the call, select Accept on the touchscreen or press the
phone button on the steering wheel.
To reject the call, select Reject on the touchscreen or ignore the
call by doing nothing.
TEXT MESSAGES
The system can receive and notify you of text messages. You can
use the touchscreen to select to hear or see the text messages,
call the sender or reply to the text message with a standard
message. You can switch text message notifications on and o in
the Settings menu on your cell phone. For more information, see
the Phone chapter of your Owner's Manual.
VOICE INTERACTION
The digital assistant allows you to control vehicle features using
conversational requests. To begin a voice interaction using
the wake word, say the selected wake word or press the voice
interaction button on the steering wheel.
To see examples of what voice commands you can use with
dierent features:
1. Press the
button on the touchscreen.
2. Press Ford Assistant.
3. Press Voice Command Help.
4. Select a feature.
APPS
The first time you start an app through the system, you may need
to grant certain permissions. Some apps work with no setup.
Others require you to configure some personal settings before you
can use them. To access the apps, select the apps option on the
feature bar.
