PRE-COLLISION ASSIST*
When your vehicle is rapidly approaching another stationary
vehicle, a vehicle traveling in the same direction as yours or a
pedestrian or cyclist within your driving path, the system provides
three levels of functionality:
Alert: When activated, a flashing visual warning appears and an
audible warning tone sounds.
Brake support: Helps reduce the impact speed by preparing the
brakes for rapid braking. The system does not apply the brakes. If
you press the brake pedal, the system could apply additional
braking up to maximum braking force, even if you lightly press the
brake pedal.
Automatic emergency braking: May activate if the system
determines that a collision is imminent.

You can use your instrument cluster display control to adjust the
collision warning system’s sensitivity or to switch the system
on or o.
Note: If a blocked sensor message appears in the instrument
cluster display, dirt, water or an object is blocking the sensor. The
sensor* is behind a cover near the driver side of the lower grille. If
anything blocks the sensor, your vehicle cannot see through the
sensor, and the collision warning system does not work.
DRIVE MODE CONTROL
Drive mode control delivers a driving experience by optimizing the
steering, handling and powertrain response.
The system adjusts your vehicle configuration for each mode you
select. Rotate the drive mode control on the center console to
select or change a drive mode.
Note: Your vehicle may only be equipped with some of the drive
modes listed.
Normal – For everyday driving.
Tow Haul – For improved transmission operation when
towing a trailer or a heavy load.
Eco – For ecient driving.
Rock Crawl* – For optimum rock-climbing ability.
O-Road* – For driving on rough uneven terrain
Slippery – For less than ideal
road conditions such
as snow or ice
covered roads
Trail – For muddy, rutted, so or
uneven terrain.
Note: Your vehicle automatically starts
in the last selected drive mode, for
applicable modes, when you return to
your vehicle aer short trips up to 4
hours between ignition cycles. If the
vehicle has not started for longer
periods, the next startup activates a
pop-up on the instrument cluster which asks you to confirm if you
want to return to your last used drive mode.
