If your Forest-Master chipper's petrol engine won't start, try these checks: * Ensure the ignition switch is in the “ON” position. * Make sure the fuel shut-off valve is open. * Use fresh, clean fuel, replacing old fuel and using a stabilizer if storing fuel longer than 30 days. * Inspect the spark plug; clean or replace it if dirty or cracked. If oily, clear the cylinder by pulling the recoil cord with a rag over the plug hole, then clean and reinsert the plug. * Verify sufficient engine oil, topping up if necessary. * Clean any dirt from the carburettor, including the jet. * Check the drum for blockages if the pull start is stuck.
