Why is my ForestAir 13-04597 not cooling efficiently?
    • P
      Patty NguyenAug 8, 2025
Several factors can cause inefficient cooling in your ForestAir Air Conditioner. Check if airflow is restricted by curtains or blinds, and clear any obstructions. Ensure the air exchanger is set to 'CLOSED'. Remove any nearby heat sources. A dirty air filter can also reduce efficiency, so clean it. Adjust the set temperature and increase the fan speed, avoiding Energy Saving mode. Verify that the unit's capacity is adequate for the room size using the cooling chart. Finally, if the unit is freezing up, set the fan speed to highest and temperature to coolest, and wait for the ice to melt.

If your ForestAir Air Conditioner isn't turning on, start by ensuring it's securely plugged into the wall outlet and that the main power supply is on. Linda HammondAug 20, 2025
If your ForestAir Air Conditioner starts and stops frequently, or blows fuses, it might be due to the outdoor temperature being below 19°C (66°F), which is outside the unit's working range. Also, ensure the unit is not connected to an extension cord and that no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit. If the problem persists, contact SUNRISE TRADEX Customer Service.
