      First, ensure the unit is connected to a working power socket or wait for the electricity to be restored if there is a power outage. Also, check if the overflow indicator is on, and drain the water if needed. The unit functions within a temperature range of 7 to 35°C (44 to 95°F). In Cooling mode, the unit might not seem to work if the room temperature is already below the set temperature. In Dehumidification mode, the ambient temperature must be greater than 17°C (62°F).

      Poor cooling efficiency can occur due to several reasons. Direct sunlight entering the room can heat it up, so close curtains or blinds. Open doors and windows let cool air escape, so keep them closed. If there are many people in the room, wait for some to leave. Other heat sources in the room can counteract the cooling, so turn them off. A dirty filter restricts airflow, so clean or replace it. Ensure that the air inlet and outlet are not obstructed by objects or furniture; clear any blockages.
