Safety and prevention
2.1 SECURITY
TheOperator(inadditiontobeingprovidedwitharegularli-
cense),mustbeinstructedontherisksderivingfromaccidents,
onthedevicespreparedforsafetyandonthegeneralaccident
preventionrulesprovidedforbythedirectivesandbythestan-
dardsofthecountryofuseofthemachine.Whilemanufacturing
themachine,wehavebeenprovidedforallpotentialsituations
ofdangerandimplementedtheappropriateprotections.There
isstillahighlevelofaccidentscausedbytheimproperand
clumsyuseofthemachine.Distraction,lightweightandtoo
muchcondenceoftencauseaccidents;astheycanbefatigue
anddrowsiness.Itismandatory,therefore,toreadverycarefully
thismanualandinparticularthesectiononsafety.
DANGER: The Manufacturer declines any respon-
sibility for failure to comply with the safety and
prevention standards provided by the law and as
provided in this manual.
2.1.1 GENERAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING: Failure to comply with what described
in «Section 2 - Safety and prevention» and the
possible tampering of the safety devices, raise
the Manufacturer from any liability in case of ac-
cidents, damage or malfunction of the machine..
General information:
- TheUserundertakestoentrustthemachineexclusivelyto
qualiedandtrainedstaff.
- TheUserisrequiredtotakeallappropriatemeasuresto
preventunauthorizedpeoplefromusingthemachine.
- TheUserundertakestoinformitsstaffadequatelyonthe
applicationandcompliancewiththesafetyregulations.
- TheUsermustinformtheManufacturerincaseitdiscoversa
covereddefectormalfunctionofthesafetysystems,aswell
asanyallegedsituationofdanger.
- TheOperatormustalwaysusepersonalprotectiveequipment
providedbythelawandfollowtheinstructionsinthismanual.
- TheOperatormustcomplywithallthesignsofdangerand
cautionshownonthemachine.
- TheOperatormustnotcarryoutoperationsonitsowninitia-
tiveorinterventionsthatarenotwithinitscompetence.
- Theassemblyofpiecesofotherbrandsoranychanges
mayvarythemachine’scharacteristicsandhenceaffectits
operationalsafety.
2.2 SAFETY SIGNS
Themachinehasbeendesignedtakingallthepossiblesolutions
fortheprotectionandsafetyofthosewhoworkonit.Never-
theless,themachinemayhaveresidualrisks;thoserisksthat
thatithasnotbeenpossibletoeliminatecompletelyincertain
conditionsofuse.
Thesepotentialrisksareshownonthemachinewithstickers
(pictograms),whichindicatethedifferentsituationsofinsecurity
and/ordangerinessentialform(seeFig.5).Keepthewarning
stickerscleanandreplacethemimmediatelywhentheyare
removedordamaged.
2.3 SAFETY DURING THE USE AND

2.3.1 SAFETY DURING THE USE OF THE MACHINE
- Wearsuitableclothing.Avoidwearinglooseanduttering
clothing:itcanbecaughtinmovingparts.Longhairshould
betied.TheOperatorshouldalsocarrysharptoolsinits
pockets.
- Itisabsolutelyforbiddentodriveortooperatethemachine
bythosewhohavenotreadandunderstoodtheinstructions
inthismanual,aswellasstaffthatisnotcompetent,thatis
notingoodphysicalandmentalhealth,andstillunderthe
ageof18years.
- Beforestartingthemachine,checktheintegrityofallsafety
devices.
- Beforestartingworkforthersttime,familiarizeyourselfwith
thecontrolsandtheirfunctions.
- Theareainwhichthemachineisusedmustbeconsidered
«dangerouszone»,especiallyforpeoplenottrainedinthe
useofthesame.Beforestartingthemachine,checkthat,
allaroundtheworkarea,therearenopeopleoranimalsor
obstaclesofanykind.
- TheOperatormustimmediatelyreleasetheleversthatopera-
tethemachineintheeventthatapersonorananimalenter
thedangerzoneofthemachineandwait,beforereturning
towork,thattheareaiscompletelyfree.
- Whenapersonisexposed,thatisinthe«dangerouszone»,
theOperatormustimmediatelyintervenebystoppingthe
machinetoremovethepersoninquestion.
- NeverleavethemachinewhentheengineisON.
- Controllareperiodicamentel’integritàdellamacchinanelsuo
complessoeidispositividiprotezione.
- Whenoperatingonsoftground,nearslopes,ditchesorsteep
slopes,workwiththeutmostcautiontopreventthemachine
fromtippingover.
